See if your loved one may qualify

Can my loved one join the SPIRIT Study?

All clinical studies have a number of criteria (called inclusion and exclusion criteria) that people must meet in order to take part. These are important for many reasons, including the health and well being of the study participants but also to support validity of the study data and to be in line with laws, regulations, and the rules of health authorities.

To learn if your loved one may meet the entry criteria for the SPIRIT Study, please complete this short questionnaire.

Does your loved one have a diagnosis of SLC6A1-related neurodevelopmental disorder (SLC6A1-NDD)?
Does your loved one have epilepsy, global developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, or intellectual disability?
Does your loved one have a documented mutation in the SLC6A1 gene confirmed to cause their neurodevelopmental disorder?
Is your loved one over 17 years of age?
Does your loved one have another diagnosis besides SLC6A1-related disorder that could cause their seizures or neurodevelopmental disorder?
